Welcome to Azul Surf – where learning to surf feels like hanging out with a friend who happens to know the waves like the back of his hand.

I’m Otman, a born-and-raised Imsouane local who’s spent my whole life in and around these waves. Growing up here meant learning to read the swell before I could ride a bike - and now I get to share that knowledge with surfers from all over the world.

Whether you’re stepping onto a board for the first time or looking to refine your style, I’m here to help you build confidence, understand the ocean, and (most importantly) have a laugh while doing it.

Why Azul?

‘Azul’ (ⴰⵣⵓⵍ) means hi in Amazigh - the language of my Berber heritage. It’s a greeting that carries warmth, connection, and an open-door mentality - just like the vibe here at Azul Surf. Whether you’re a first-time surfer or a seasoned wave rider, you're always welcome here.

What to expect

At Azul Surf Coaching, I keep things simple:
- Private Lessons for personalised coaching.
- Group Sessions for those who love learning with friends.
- Kids’ Lessons to help little ones build confidence in the water.

All lessons are 2 hours long and include a board, wetsuit, and plenty of encouragement. Whether you’re looking to catch your first wave or carve cleaner lines, I’ll be in the water with you every step of the way - guiding, cheering, and getting just as excited as you when you nail that wave.
